Tremblers!
Silly me, I ignored the light shaking until I decided it was probably best to get off the couch and out from underneath the heavy glass picture frames. By the time the dishes and bookshelf started rattling furiously, I made a break for the doorway to the balcony. The shaking probably went on for 20-30 seconds. Reports say it was a 7.1 from near the Izu Islands, about 400 km from here. If that was the equivalent of a 3, I don't want to know what a 7 feels like.
